On Memorial Day, more than 400 troops and their families from the greater New York area enjoyed the Second Annual Freedom Alliance Night with the New York Mets. These American heroes had the chance to enjoy America’s favorite pastime as the Mets took on the Washington Nationals at the brand-new Citi Field. Before the game, the troops and their families were taken on the warning track and honored before the more than 40,000 fans in attendance. The audience gave a huge standing ovation to these brave men and women. The evening was hosted by Freedom Alliance as part of our Support Our Troops program. |

Dallas, TX – Recently, 270 soldiers, sailors, and airmen were served a lunch catered by Dickey’s Barbecue at the United Service Organization (USO) facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. Those in attendance were returning to either Iraq or Afghanistan after two weeks of leave. Sponsored by Freedom Alliance in conjunction with the USO of Dallas/Fort Worth, the luncheon was held to honor the troops for their service and sacrifice and to wish them well as they return to active duty in Southwest Asia. |
