2006 Hannity Freedom Concert
With Country Music’s Biggest Stars

It's here! The most exciting Hannity Freedom Concert yet. It will take place on Friday, July 21 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.  

Featuring country music legend Hank Williams, Jr., the Freedom Concert will honor our men and women in uniform and benefit the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund for the children of our military heroes who have been killed or permanently disabled in service to our country.

Hank, Jr. will be joined by Lee Greenwood – whose song “God Bless the USA” is considered one of the most recognizable patriotic songs ever written – and country music star and “2006 Top Female Vocalist of the Year” nominee Sara Evans. Sara performed at the first Freedom Concert in 2003, and is returning by popular demand to sing her platinum-selling hits.  

Sean Hannity will again broadcast his radio show live from the Freedom Concert and we will be joined by injured and recuperating military heroes (and their families) from our military medical institutions. We hope you will join us in treating them to a hero’s welcome as we thank them for their bravery and service to our country.

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund

The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund honors the bravery and dedication exhibited by Americans in our armed forces who have sacrificed life or limb by providing educational scholarships to their children.

100 pecent of Scholarship Fund donations go to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund. Donations to cover the administrative costs of the program are raised seperately.

Thanks to the support of Sean Hannity, over the last four years we have raised over $6 million dollars and given out hundreds of scholarships.

Scholarship Receipient Stephen Rowe
and His POW Hero Father

Stephen Rowe’s father, Col. James Nicholas Rowe, was a graduate of West Point who served in the U.S. Army for 29 years.  Col. Rowe became a Vietnam War hero when, as a first lieutenant with the Special Forces, he and two other Green Berets were captured by the Viet Cong.  “Nick” Rowe was taken prisoner in the U Minh Forest, known as the “Forest of Darkness,”

Scholarship Spotlight: Jessica Smith
Jessica Smith’s father, Sergeant First Class Paul Ray Smith, proudly served his country for fourteen years in the United States Army. While leading three dozen of his men in building a temporary jail in Baghdad, his troops were surprised by a hundred of Saddam Hussein’s Republican Guard.
