Freedom Alliance is pleased to announce that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will join the 2006 Freedom Cruise which sets sail from Rome, Italy August 19-29. The ten day trip includes policy seminars on board Holland America?s newest ship, the ms Noordam, and includes stops in the Greek Isles, Croatia, Turkey, Malta and Sicily.

Under his leadership, Congress passed welfare reform, passed the first balanced budget in a generation, and passed the first tax cut in sixteen years. In addition, the Congress restored funding to strengthen our defense and intelligence capabilities, an action later lauded by the bipartisan 9/11 Commission.
